Founder and principal consultant Katy Kolker is an award-winning nonprofit leader with 25 years of experience helping mission-driven organizations deepen their impact through strategic planning, program design, organizational development, grant writing and fundraising, human resources, financial management, board development, executive leadership, and more.

After proudly serving as Executive Director of acclaimed nonprofit organizations over the past 20 years including Portland Farmers Market, Portland Fruit Tree Project, and 350PDX, Katy launched Kolker Collaborative Consulting to leverage her skills and expertise to serve the nonprofit sector more broadly.

Katy’s leadership has been recognized through numerous awards, including the Skidmore Prize from Willamette Week and the Innovators Award from 1000 Friends of Oregon. Her work is grounded in equity, collaboration, and community-centered approaches that help organizations align around shared goals, deepen impacts, expand resources and build capacity for long-term sustainability.

Outside of work, Katy enjoys gardening, bicycling, playing music and exploring natural areas with her family. Born and raised in Baltimore, she has called Portland home since 2002.
